Red Velvet Cake / Cupcake

A family friend gave me an heirloom red velvet cake recipe, which tastes great!! In our kitchen we have two canvas paintings of cupcakes, one of them has pink icing, a pink rose and a green leaf, sitting on a striped pink plate. Everyday, Serene tells me how much she loves that cupcake and wants it, so I made her wish come true! Although the cake is red, she was very happy!!! It looked just like the painting!
